As much as it appears unfair or unreasonable to start drilling and test-prepping our kids at such an early age, there is no harm in giving them a little bit of a foot-up. The earlier they get into the habit of learning things, the more they learn to focus, absorb, and process information, the easier and more enjoyable it will be for them in the future.

While introducing a variety of subjects from the world around us through images, games and open discussions, the class will focus on developing a variety of different skills: visual, logical and mathematical thinking, attention and memory, imagination and speech development.

These skills are, of course, the integral part of the OLSAT/BSRA tests required for getting into the Gifted and Talented Programs in NYC, and although we will try and address various issues systematically, I am sure the kids will still have their fun.

Little singers

This group is formed by students from ages 4 to 5 and intended to choral practice. Students will learn the core skills to sing in tune, in the group and individually, through a repertory of children\'s songs, sung \"a capella\" or/and with instrumental accompaniment.

The group will meet once a week for 45 minutes class/rehearsal leading to their active participation in the end-of-semester concert.
