Kierstyn Sharrow
Manhattan, NY; Dance, 2-4

I hold a BA in Dance from Marymount Manhattan College and have been performing and teaching professionally for the past 13 years. I have taught ballet at Alvin Ailey and Broadway Dance Center. I directed Disney's pilot production of "Lion King Kids" at the Harlem School of the Arts. My teaching technique encourages the students to learn how to learn which leads to inspiring self-motivation within each student. Consequently, this provides the platform for the students to perform at their highest potential.

My favorite performance credits include: Nat'l Tours: CATS (swing), American Dance Machine (asst. to director/ dance captain); Off-Broadway: Idol: the Musical (Cass/dance captain); Regional Theatres: Tuacahn's Regional Premiere of Tarzan (Ape), Arrow Rock Lyceum Theatre's CATS (Demeter), Fireside Dinner Theatre's Fiddler on the Roof (u.s. Chava/ Grandma Tzeitel), and Westchester Broadway's Premiere of Parusia (ensemble).
