I graduated from Kiev Mathematics School and then went on to Kiev Polytechnic University where I earned an MS in Computer Science.

I've been teaching Mathematics since then to students in grades 2 - 12, in all Math topics - Arithmetic, Algebra I, Algebra II, Geometry, Trigonometry, Precalculus, Calculus etc. on Regular and Honors levels.

I also teach an SAT Preparation Course (Math) - SAT I and SAT II. Quite a few of my students received a Math score of 800 - the highest possible score. For several years now, I've also taught advanced math at various learning centers.

Recently I took and passed with Recognition of Excellence PRAXIS Math tests required for licensing in NJ: Mathematics: Content Knowledge and Middle School Mathematics.

I strive to teach my students to think in the spirit of mathematics, to develop their scientific imagination. Yes, the students of ages 8 to 17 are constantly challenged in my classes, but at the same time the basics are stressed and enhanced.
