My education includes a B.S. (1996) in mathematics and a M.S. (1998) in Topology and Differential geometry (Voronezh State University, Russia). I also obtained Voronezh State University Teaching Certificate as Math and Computer Science teacher.

After completion of my M.S. studies I was invited to teach Linear Algebra and Topology to students majoring in Math and Math Analysis and Probability as well as to students majoring in Biology. From 1998 to 2000 I have taught total of 8 math classes in Voronezh State University. From 1996 to 2000 I taught Math and Computer science in Koltsov Private school (Voronezh, Russia).

Every semester I worked with 4 groups of children of 7 – 12 years old. These were small groups of 5 - 6 children in each. I really enjoyed working with students in small groups because I was able to give more attention to individual student’s needs.

Special attention was given to individual student's participation and involvement in class activities. During that time I developed a few methods of my own.

Classes were held in a friendly interactive and challenging atmosphere, with a lot of mathematical and logical games. I also used a lot of visual aids to explain mathematical categories.

My intension for the students is to improve children math skills and get new ones, develop appreciation for mathematics.

When teaching young students I especially enjoy the opportunity to change the common perception of math as a boring science. I intend to help my students develop analytical skills and mathematical logic.
